I don’t hold with the Goverment’s 1Malaysia crap which wants to tell me that, prior to its creation in the recycle bin of an expensive public relations consultancy, there was no such thing as social unity in Malaysia.  There has always been such a thing, and it endures despite the constant attempts of politicians to kill it in the past 50-something years. We have also been at each other’s throats for an even longer time; but that’s how it is—love it or hate it, glossing over Malaysia with some shiny illiterate nonsense is dishonest and breeds idiocy.

Here are some pictures of my home without the ridiculous phallic prefix, and I shall index the lot (somehow) according to the date on which I upload them. (Not quite sure how this page business works yet, and the captions are don’t display very well.)

They give me a bit of cold comfort, but not much more.

  1. Just wanted to follow your blog but do not find any “follow” button to click. So i’m just subscribing here. Hope it is ok with you. Must say, you have interesting write-ups or comments or whatever….

  2. Hi Mindy, thanks for your comment.

There’s an RSS button on top of the sidebar at the right. If you put your mouse over the button, it will pop up a menu of RSS readers. To be honest I’m not sure exactly how this works, but I just tried subscribing via the Google News thing (a bit weird to subscribe to my own blog… but it seems to work. Let me know if it doesn’t).
